Thai Chilli Oysters

These zesty Thai Chilli Oysters are super quick to throw together and add a lively & pleasing twist to natural oysters. We are so very fortunate living in Australia having access to an abundance of fresh seafood. Coming up to the peak of Australia's oyster season, there is no better time to grab some oysters and try this appetising recipe

 

Thai Chilli Oysters

 

INGREDIENTS

12 Half Shell Oysters
1 Spring Onion
Juice of Half a Lime
1 Red Chilli
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
2 tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
1 tbsp. Minced Ginger
2 tsp Sesame Oil
2 tsp Palm Sugar

 

METHOD

1. Combine lime juice, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, palm sugar & ginger until the sugar dissolves.
2. Spoon mixture over each oyster, only allow enough to come up to the side of the meat.
3. Finely slice spring onions & chilli, evenly spread over each oyster.
4. Share & enjoy!!
